The Happy Animals

I am "guest posting" here today for Laura. She recently took these warm and lovely photos of our friends' barnyard animals. She and her sister occasionally go there to visit and ride horses, and it makes the girls so happy!

Pumpkin Carving

My attempt at pumpkin carving this year. :)

I want to dedicate this post to my mom. She sets an example of  how to love, act, and live. She has also shown me how to appreciate the little things in life, whether it be a hug from someone that you love, or a field full of dandelions at sunset. Thank you for the love and the wonderful example you set for us! I love you Mom!

We farm down by the river, and when we were taking dad dinner one day we saw this pair of bald eagles and their nest in a cottonwood tree! It was overcast and the lighting was perfect so I was able to get some pretty decent shots. :)

My Owl Barn

I've loved owls for a long time, I have owl jewelery, owl clothes, owl pictures.... And my new favorite blog,http://www.myowlbarn.com/ is all about owl! At The Pool

Even though this year was a little cooler than last year, the pool was still a favorite! We used it well, with keep away, numerous, intense, chicken fights, and hot tub time for everyone. The parents had "hot tub hour" every night at seven, and loved squirting the kids!
